Asptic Tomato Paste Brix 36-38

Aseptic Tomato Paste Brix 36–38

Aseptic tomato paste is a concentrated tomato product made by carefully processing fresh, ripe tomatoes under strict hygienic conditions. The aseptic process ensures that the paste is sterilized and packaged in a way that preserves its natural color, flavor, and nutrients without the need for preservatives. This makes it ideal for industrial use in the food and beverage sector, as well as for export to global markets.

What Does Brix 36–38 Mean?

The term Brix refers to the measurement of soluble solids in the tomato paste, primarily natural sugars and soluble nutrients.
• A Brix level of 36–38% indicates that the paste is highly concentrated, meaning it has less water and more tomato solids compared to lower Brix levels (like 28–30).
• This makes it especially suitable for industrial applications where strong tomato flavor, thick consistency, and rich color are required—such as ketchup, sauces, soups, and ready-made meals.

Packaging Options

Aseptic tomato paste with Brix 36–38 is typically packed in:
• Aseptic Bags (220–250 kg) placed inside steel drums with an inner sterile liner
• Aseptic Bags (5–25 kg) for smaller industrial users
• Flexitanks (20–24 metric tons) for bulk shipments
• IBC (Intermediate Bulk Containers) for medium-scale distribution

This variety of packaging ensures that the product is delivered safely and according to customer needs.

Transportation and Shelf Life

• Transportation: Aseptic packaging allows the product to be shipped safely by both land and sea, without the need for refrigeration during transport. Containers are usually loaded on pallets for stability, and flexitanks are used for large-volume exports.
• Shelf Life: Thanks to the aseptic process, tomato paste with Brix 36–38 can be stored for up to 24 months at ambient temperature (cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight). Once opened, it should be refrigerated and consumed within a few days.
